Lena is One

More of the birthday talk because we celebrate birthdays for a solid week around these parts, especially the first ones.

Lena will have a proper bash this weekend with the grandfolks and the aunts and the uncles and the cousins.

Until then, we're celebrating on a smaller scale: Last night we had a picnic in the back yard and sang the birthday song in three-part harmony - mommy, daddy, and brother.

It was lovely.
